You'll fall in love with these hardened cowboys, and the equally tortured women who soften them up. This one wasn't quite to that extreme but nontheless entertaining. Diana Palmer is known for her stories about rough, arrogant men that meet their downfall at a woman's hands. My favorite part of her books is when the women have had enough and leave these arrogant cowboys, just to have the men come chasing after them, begging for a third or fouth chance.
I could not put the book down once I started reading it. She handles this subject beautfully. It reminded me of the way I felt in high school and how the boys picked on me and how I did not interact with people because of it.I would recommend this book to anyone who reads or has never read her books before. This is one of the best Diana Palmer's book to date. It deals with more than just love and passion, it deals with the way people view themselves in others eyes.
I enjoyed this book even though it has a recurring theme that all her books have-young girl meets jaded handsome guy. I always have trouble waiting for the next book. It stills make for good reading. I love Diana Palmer books. I have read every book that she has written and until I moved, had all of them.
When I pick up a Diana Palmer novel, I know that I am in for a very good story. Very well crafted, Boone and Keely are a wonderful couple. I really enjoyed this book by Diana Palmer. I can read and re-read this story and never get bored of it. Formulaic, but it works. I thought the story was well crafted, the characters strong (she's thrown in enough intrigue concerning one couple for me to want to see a book written about them) and the ending very satisfying. Diana Palmer has a formula - strong, Alpha male; virginal, sometimes scarred heroine; anatgonsim; twist (heroine is usually in danger - physically, emotionally etc), Hero steps in, saves the day and happy ending.Diana Palmer's formula works - how else would she have sold over 100 million books worldwide.
A must read for the readers who like a great, and clean romance and suspense novel. A story that captures your attention. Diana's characters are real life, and the dialogue she used made me feel as if I knew them.
